Ming Da are a producer of valve audio equipment and this year they have been running for 30 years. Their products are manufactured in a factory in China by the Mei-Xing Electronics Company, which is family-run and has been manufacturing for over 22 years. Ming Da is owned by Mr Jigui Xiao, who is passionate about valve amplifiers and very dedicated to having the best design, sound quality and manufacturing of the products.
The words Ming Da translated from Chinese mean “striving for the best manufacturing”, which perfectly sums up the philosophy of the business. All of their amplifiers are built by hand using the highest quality components, sourced from many places across the world.
The UK branch of Ming Da was formed in 2011 to import and distribute the Ming Da range, and it is the sole distributor in the UK. Mark Manwaring-White has been distributing Ming Da’s products in the UK for 10 years as of this year.
