Audiolab was founded in 1983 by Philip Swift and Derek Scotland, and became known worldwide for the 8000A, their original integrated stereo amplifier that was a classic ‘step-up’ from the budget models of the time and established itself as one of the most successful British amps ever produced. It was later joined by a range of electronics including CD players, pre/power amps and an FM tuner.
Audiolab aspires to be the epitome of high performance sound quality with attractive design. They are committed to simplifying functionality for the modern day music lover, while retaining sound purity for the discerning audiophile.
At Expressive Audio, we have been selling Audiolab since we had our first shop in West Sussex, but when we moved up to our Lincolnshire showroom we found ourselves exploring other options. However, with their new range of products, we are now very excited to be bringing Audiolab back into the Expressive Audio portfolio.
