Whether you are a digital or an analogue fan, the 40 AMP was designed to sit at the centre of your home audio system. It delivers the performance today's music fans expect, with the capability to drive even demanding loudspeakers. The built-in DAC uses the ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M chipset with HyperStream IV Dual DAC technology, with the board layout tuned by Cyrus engineers for the best possible result. The phono stage inherits design features from the award-winning Classic PHONO, with low background noise and high dynamic range for vinyl. The power amplifier responds from DC to beyond 100kHz for a ruler flat frequency response, backed by a generously over-specified power supply. It is all housed in a brushed and black hard anodised aluminium case with a 5" colour TFT display and hidden-until-lit capacitive touch controls. Add the optional 40 PSU for even more clean power.
