Today marks exactly two years since we first opened our showroom in a custom converted barn on the beautiful Revesby Estate in Boston, Lincolnshire. This was a huge step for Expressive Audio, and we are incredibly proud of everything that we have achieved in the two years since the showroom opened, establishing ourselves as Lincolnshire's HiFi, home cinema and multiroom experts. Over the last two years, we have expanded our range of brands and products, cultivating a collection of amazing offerings to help you to get the most out of your music and movie collections and to get as close as possible to the experience of live entertainment, from the safety and comfort of your own home. Among the brands we're very excited to have added recently are Audiolab, a British company aspiring to offer the epitome of high performance sound quality with attractive design in their range of HiFi and home cinema electronics; IsoAcoustics, whose audio isolation products can make an incredible difference to the sound quality of any HiFi or home cinema system; and Innuos, who offer an impressive range of digital music equipment, including music servers and storage, power supplies and more that unleash the full potential of digital music playback with true audiophile performance. We're also pleased to continue sharing the benefits of wonderful products from some of our favourite British HiFi brands, including Arcam, Chord Company, Cyrus Audio, Fyne Audio, KEF, and Rega Research.
May will also mark a whole year of our monthly 'Bring Your Own Music Nights', where we set up a HiFi system in The Red Lion pub in Revesby and invite people to come along with their favourite music to hear it on high-quality audio equipment and to talk with other people who love music and HiFi. We have enjoyed demonstrating a great variety of systems from different manufacturers, across a range of price points. At the end of 2022, in our Audio Advent series we shared a blog looking back on all our music nights from the year. We have been thoroughly enjoying continuing our music nights, and in January we started the year with our first ever 'Bring Your Own Movie/Concert Clip Night', with people bringing their favourite clips from movies or live music performances to watch on an impressive home cinema system. Plus, in March our music night had to switch locations to our showroom at the last minute, but a brilliant night was still had and there were even some mini celebrations for our manager John's birthday which had taken place earlier in the week!

We also attended a few summer shows last year, including the Friskney Village Show and the Wrangle Country Show, and as the weather warms up we're looking forward to attending more this summer and taking along some brilliant HiFi and home cinema products to demonstrate. However, our soonest upcoming event is Record Store Day 2023 on Saturday 22nd April! We will be joining our friends at Off The Beaten Tracks in Louth, with (weather permitting) a pop-up shop where you will be able to play your brand new RSD vinyl on a high-end HiFi system with products from British brands Rega Research and Fyne Audio! We will also be demonstrating the Okki Nokki One vacuum record cleaning machine, so bring along a treasured vinyl (or a bargain bought from Off The Beaten Tracks!) and have it cleaned for 50p, plus receive a free Tonar anti-static record sleeve.
