Here at Expressive Audio we are very pleased to announce we have added ATC Loudspeakers to our armoury of high quality British made brands.
ATC was founded in 1974 by Billy Woodman to manufacture drive units for the professional sound industry. ATC quickly made its mark producing a drive unit that would handle more power and produce less distortion than any other unit on the market.
In 1976 ATC began production of the ground breaking SM75-150s soft dome midrange driver. The innovative upscaled design reproduced a more uniform dispersion, wider bandwidth and much lower distortion than previously thought possible. The latest version of the midrange unit made with exotic materials and precision tolerances is thought to be the apex of drive unit technology and is often copied, but never equalled.
ATC's philosophy is simple: an obsession with quality since its formation. Since its inception, ATC has kept steadfastly to its founder's aims of building loudspeakers and audio electronics which employ the most effective of modern engineering principles.
That has meant far more than keeping up with or even ahead of the competition. It has meant striving to make loudspeakers as near perfection in their performance as it is possible to make them.
All ATC products are built to provide nothing less than the best sound reproduction money can buy, and to meet the challenge of the latest digital recording technology.
With a range of passive and active loudspeakers and a wide range of electronics, we feel it is a lovely addition to our range in store.
From the compact SCM7 and SCM11 to the larger SCM19 standmount and finally the SCM40 floorstanding model we look forward to showcasing these products in store, along with the exceptional SIA2-100 integrated amplifier.
If you would like to hear any of these new models or anything else in the ATC range feel free to visit our Lincolnshire showroom, or get in touch via phone or email and we would love to welcome you here.
