The Rega Mercury is the result of almost four decades of Rega's solid-state amplifier engineering, built with one goal in mind: a genuinely no-compromise preamplifier. It uses fully discrete, symmetrical circuitry throughout the signal path, giving it an exceptionally low noise floor so the quiet, subtle details in a recording come through rather than being masked. Alongside its core preamp duties, the Mercury also houses a high-performance DAC with USB and S/PDIF inputs, a discrete headphone amplifier, and a full colour IPS display, making it a genuinely fully-featured centrepiece for a serious system. It's designed as the perfect partner for Rega's Solis power amplifier, and is backed by a lifetime warranty from Rega against manufacturing defects.
