A Decade of Heritage, Significantly Upgraded
The Cyrus Classic AMP is the latest update to an integrated amplifier that has been part of the Cyrus product range for over a decade. By applying everything learnt during the development of the acclaimed XR Series, while retaining the familiar design of the Classic series, the circuit has been completely redesigned and the majority of internal components upgraded by the Cyrus R&D team. The power amplifier delivers 91W per channel into 6 Ohms with a wideband design responding from DC to beyond 50kHz for flat frequency response and minimal phase shift. The preamplifier features relay input selection and precision gain control, while the 304VA toroidal power transformer drives a high capacity power supply reserve with separate isolated sections for preamp, power amp, and digital control circuits. The PSX-R external power supply port further improves the analogue preamplifier stages when added.
