Musically Sweet Valve Power from the 805A Triode
The Ming Da Dynasty Cavatina is one of the most musically engaging and refined mono-block amplifiers available. Designed around the magnificent 805A triode in single-ended mode, it generates a Class A output of 40 watts per channel. A 300B triode driver, switchable to a 2A3 triode, adds an additional layer of smoothness and purity to the signal driving the 805A. The output transformer uses Japanese steel laminations and 99% pure copper, configured in an "EI" arrangement, ensuring zero saturation even at the lowest frequencies. All output transformers are hand-wound in-house by Ming Da using their own researched and refined designs. The Dynasty series cast all-aluminium chassis provides a low-resonance, high-technology platform that enhances both sonic performance and aesthetics. An auto delay HT switch protects output valve life, and front panel meter-based external bias checking is included. Designed for use with Ming Da preamplifiers but fully compatible with other quality pre-amplifiers. Supplied as a pair.
