Description
Built for the Realities of Audio Streaming
The Chord C-Stream has been designed specifically for audio streaming systems that rely on RJ45 connections. It uses high- quality oxygen- free copper conductors with low- density polyethylene insulation, with each conductor pair individually shielded before an overall high- density foil shield and a vibration-damping outer jacket are applied. The RJ45 plug itself has gold-plated contacts in an over-moulded design for improved reliability.
As streaming continues to be the dominant way people listen to music, shielding against interference on the network cable becomes just as important as the cables carrying the analogue signal.
