Having heard that the ZENmini could be improved if it had an SSD option, Innuos have brought out the ZENmini S to take one of their most popular music servers and replaces the hard drive with a quiet, lightning-quick Solid-State Drive (SSD). The ZENmini S upgrades the RAM from 4GB to 8GB for additional performance benefits when searching for music or copying files. It even has a power-loss protection circuit so if you lose your power, you don’t lose your music.

With its compact footprint, low-power efficiency, quiet operation and range of connectivity, the ZENmini is a convenient and discreet music server for all your Digital Audio needs – from CD ripping and purchased downloads to streaming services and internet radio.

The ZENmini offers more than just casual usage. Floating optical and storage drives paired with a custom motherboard and premium components offer far greater musical performance than conventional computers and NAS drives.

Featuring additional Optical and Coaxial digital outputs as well has a high-resolution 24bit/192kHz Digital to Analog Converter (DAC). This means you can now connect directly to all your favourite devices such as Soundbars, AV Receivers or Integrated Amplifiers the easy way.

Using their own exclusive innuOS operating system, Innuos servers are configured and optimised from the ground up for the perfect balance of performance and simplicity. Control your library from the comfort of your tablet or smartphone – no computer required.

The ZENmini S brings all the benefits of an SSD, including quieter operation and no moving parts to the venerable ZENmini mk3, whilst also increasing system RAM from 4GB to 8GB, achieving even greater performance from an already established, award-winning music server and streamer. The ZENmini S may be one of the best values in HiFi sources available anywhere.

ZENmini supports MQA Core Software Decoding, which means you can playback MQA audio files and streams, delivering the sound of the original master recording. MQA Core software decoding is provided free of charge and enables streaming and playback of MQA files up to 24bit/96 kHz for non-MQA DACs and up to 24bit/384 kHz for MQA Renderer/Decoder DACs. ZENmini can also passthrough MQA files to MQA Full Decoder DACs.

InnuOS Operating System 2.3 or higher is required for MQA Core Decoding.
