4th Generation Grado drivers are here. Specifically tuned for the SR125x, this new speaker design features a more powerful magnetic circuit, a voice coil with decreased effective mass, and a reconfigured diaphragm. Reengineering these components for our 35mm drivers improve efficiency, reduces distortion, and preserves the harmonic integrity of your music.
Along with the speakers, the cables and headband have been redesigned for the SR125x. Now housed in a more durable exterior, the 8-conductor cable transfers more information and features a super annealed copper wire for improved purity of the audio signal. The new headband features more cushion for a comfier experience.
The Grado SR125x headphones are an open back on-ear headphone design, and comes with a 1/4 jack means that can be plugged in to any modern hi-fi system, and an included 3.5mm adapter means they're equally comfortable on the go.
Each Grado headphone is hand built by their team in Brooklyn and goes from bench to bench until its ready for your ears, Grado started making headphones on a Kitchen table in 1953 and with nearly 70 years of experience it really shows in all of their headphone designs.
