3 x 7 inch Low-Loss Bass and Midrange Woofers with powerful double magnets
Exclusively for SONIK 9, the 7-inch woofers feature a larger diaphragm, powerful double magnets for focused magnetic fields, low losses, and extra dynamic headroom. Combined with the Clarity Cone™ structure and wood-fibre diaphragm, this design minimises resonance, enhances accuracy, and delivers effortless, detailed, and class-leading reproduction of midrange and bass frequencies.
SMC™ Essential Magnet System
The SONIK series uses DALI's patented SMC™ magnet material to reduce distortion and improve linearity. A ferrite ring surrounds a hybrid iron-SMC™ pole piece, placing SMC™ directly in the voice coil’s working zone. This minimises hysteresis and eddy currents, delivering cleaner, more detailed and relaxed midrange performance.
