Cleaner Power for Your 40 Series
Power supply design has always been key to audio performance, and the 40 PSU takes a new approach. It has its own on-board microprocessor and communicates directly with your compatible 40 Series component, supplying the best configuration of virtually noise-free power from a full range of digitally controlled voltage outputs. It works alongside the host product's internal supply, and connects with a single multi-way cable. With the 40 AMP it stiffens the power amplifier rails and fully drives the preamp section, bringing more weight, authority, detail and better timing. With the 40 CD it powers the master clock, the disc motors and the analogue side of the DAC, improving jitter and imaging. With the 40 ST it powers the analogue DAC stage and network module, for more detail, greater control and a deeper soundstage.
