Rega’s Plug-and-Play Classic, in Excellent Ex-Demo Condition
This Rega Planar 1 Plus in matte white has been used in Expressive Audio’s showroom but is in excellent condition, and it comes packaged in its original box. The Planar 1 Plus takes the award-winning Planar 1 and adds a built-in, high-quality moving magnet phono stage based on Rega’s five-star Fono Mini.
It connects straight to powered speakers or any line-level input, with no extra equipment needed. A hand-made RB110 tonearm with ultra-low-friction bearings and a pre-set bias keeps setup simple, and a factory-fitted Rega Carbon cartridge means it sounds good straight out of the box. A bespoke 24V low-noise synchronous motor, Rega’s EBLT Advanced drive belt and a 23mm high-mass phenolic platter keep speed stable and vibration low. It was named Hi-Fi Choice Group Test Winner in June 2024, and it remains a favourite first turntable for new and returning vinyl listeners alike.
