Here at Expressive Audio we are very pleased to announce that we have gained ourselves a Chord Company cables account. Formed in 1984 over a dinner table meeting with Naim Audio USA, Chord Company have been manufacturing and building high quality HiFi cables in the UK and supplying them worldwide for almost four decades.
Over my 20 years in the industry I have seen Chord go from strength to strength with improvements in every generation of cables.
The current ranges are fully fleshed out and each range represents excellent performance for money, from the Entry C-Range, through Clearway range, Shawline Range, Epic Range and then up to Signature Range. The level of performance improvements that the Chord cables can add to your system needs to be heard to be believed.
Some very recent additions to Chord's profile of products include a whole new series of HDMI cables in the Clearway, Shawline and Epic Ranges. I was very lucky to see some of these new cables recently and have to say I was incredibly impressed in both the audio and video benefits.
Another product to highlight is the new English Electric Ethernet switch made by the Chord Company. This 8 way high performance audio grade network switch is yet another product that you would not expect to make a difference in the audio quality of your streaming and video based system, but in the limited time I have used one of these I have to say the difference was staggering. If you want to try one let us know as we will have one that you can borrow.
